Truvia Natural Sweetener

I received a sample of Truvia Natural Sweetener in exchange for my honest feedback.

I have tried a few natural sweeteners and never really cared for any of them so when I was excepted to try this sample I must admit I wasn’t sure if I would like it at all. I drink chamomile tea almost every night to help calm me and get me ready for a good nights rest. I decided to switch my regular sugar I would normally use with the Truvia Sample I received.

Here are a few key points that I found while trying Truvia:

First, I was surprised that I didn’t have to use nearly as much Truvia as I normally use with sugar in order to get my tea to the sweetness I like.

Second, I noticed that there really wasn’t much of a difference at all in the taste of Truvia to sugar, if anything Truvia has more flavor than regular sugar does. After drinking my nightly tea I was convinced that not all natural sweeteners are equal. Although my experience with some of the other brands hadn’t been good Truvia was amazing! I’ve been told that many natural sweeteners only taste good when using them to bake but I would have no problem sprinkling Truvia on my fruit because it taste that good!

Third, Truvia has zero-calories and comes from leaves so it’s better for you than other alternative sweeteners. This was one fact that I really liked about Truvia.

All in all, If you have tried a few natural sweeteners and haven’t had a good experience or if you haven’t tried them but have been wanting to, do yourself a favor and go for the Truvia! You will be happy you did!

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes Ultra Soft Clothes

I really like Neutrogena and I've always had some great experiences with their products so far. I was at Target shopping one day and had come to their skincare aisle; I saw that the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes Ultra Soft Clothes Twin pack were on sale, since I trust Neutrogena’s skincare line so far I decided to try it out.

I liked Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes Ultra Soft Clothes, If I was rating this item from 1-5 (5 being the best and 1 being the worst) I would rate it a 4. They are very soft for the most sensitive skin and remove my make-up with ease! The only reason I would give it a 4 is because I wasn’t crazy about the smell. It had a cucumber scent (I believe), although I like cucumber melon scent on many things I can now honestly say I really don’t like it on my face! I normally wash my face after using the towelettes and basically use them to ensure that all my make-up is removed before I wash my face so I don’t really have to smell them for too long. I would recommend them to anyone, the smell may be something that only bothers me and it’s hard to find great make-up removing towelettes that are this sensitive!

Here are some Pros and Cons I found with this product.

Pros:

• They come in a easy to use pouch which is great for traveling.
• They are very sensitive on skin.
• They are gentle enough to use near your eye area.
• Each towelette is a perfect size to use on any face!
• Using disposable clothes are a great way to keep your skin healthy and prevent breakouts!

Cons:

• I personally wasn’t crazy about the scent.

So as you can see from my pros and cons list Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes Ultra Soft Clothes are a great buy! Feel free to ask me any questions and thanks for reading!

I have used several other personal bathroom cleansing cloths in the past and I have never liked the design of the dispenser they come in. Some say the stick to your wall, others say they keep your cloths moist, but I still haven’t found any that had everything I would want from a personal bathroom wipe. What is it that I am looking for? I would want a cleansing cloth that is tuff and wouldn’t rip while I was using it, I would want one that had a great scent, one that had an easy dispenser, a dispenser that was easy to reach and kept my wipes moist at all times, one that was safe to flush and that went with all of my bathroom decor no matter what it was. Have you ever been running out of your house in the morning with your kid(s) and your all running late, then just as your about to lock your front door your child/children look up at you and say(s) “Mommy, I’m hungry”? Just as it dawns on you that you completely forgot to feed your kid(s) and right before your about to beat yourself up about it, the only thing you can think of is “What can I grab out of the pantry that wont make me feel even worse as a parent”. You need something healthy, something quick, not messy and that your kid(s) won’t fight you on eating. Guess what Moms, I’ve been in that same situation many times before and I’m proud to say, I found it!!

belvita Crunchy Biscuits are awesome! They taste great, give your children the vitamins they need in the morning to keep them going threw the day, and are so easy to take with you! They’re good for everyone as well (not just the kiddo’s)!

I saw these for the first time at Publix on a BOGO sale. I wasn't familiar with belVita's yet but saw them in the cookie aisle and liked that it said it was healthy on the box so figured I would try them. Boy am I glad that I did! My boys love them! Dr. Scholl's ® For Her Comfort Insoles

 I received this product complimentary in return for my honest review. Dr. Scholl’s for Her Comfort Insoles: Retail for $12.49

These insoles are amazing! This is coming from a woman that loves her heels but hate what it does to her feet! I also have two bad knees but still haven’t learned my lesson and continue to indulge in my love for shoes, mainly heels are my true love! I think this comes from me only being 5’1 and wanting that extra couple of inches that heels give me. So when I decided to try Dr. Dr. Scholl’s For Her Comfort Insoles I was hoping these insoles would be the solution to my problems with heels and shoes in general! I like that Dr. Scholl’s For Her Comfort Insoles can be used in a variety of shoes, from heels to boots these insoles will come in handy! They absorb the shock and impact on your heel of your foot and helps to protect the ball of your foot area. They also give my knees the pain relief I truly hoped for!

Here are some tips for keeping your insoles in good condition:

• Make sure you wipe down your Dr. Scholl’s for Her Comfort Insoles after you remove them from your shoes and before you insert them into another pair. This will make sure they keep there adhesiveness.
• When your not using your Dr. Scholl’s For Her Comfort Insoles keep them in a zip lock bag, this will make sure that dirt, lint, and/or anything else, wont ruin your insoles by coming into contact with them.They will be ready for the next time you are ready to use them!

TruMoo Chocolate Milk

I received my free vouchers to try Trumoo Milk in the mail in exchange for my honest feedback. It was delivered with great timing since it was shopping day and I was heading out to go grocery shopping (go figure).

First, I would like to say that we normally make our own flavored milk with chocolate syrup so we were new to Trumoo. When I returned home with the groceries in hand, walked into the house and I spotted my youngest looking at me, he always knows that when I go grocery shopping I normally bring home snacks and things he loves. My son loves milk, so when I returned home with Trumoo’s Chocolate and Strawberry Milk and he spotted the containers through the bags (he knows what milk containers look like no matter what kind they are) he ran towards me with excitement! Scared I was going to be tackled I surrendered the Gallon and Half Gallon over to my 8 year old and watched him check out what they were, quickly snatch a cup from the cabinet, pour a large cup of chocolate milk, and gulp it down! He has seen the Trumoo Milk Containers at the grocery store and has asked me in the past for them so he was very excited to see he finally got what he had been asking for. In only a couple of days he has managed to go through over half the gallon alone, milk lover is an understatement. With Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, my little boy is now complete with his new best friend, the Trumoo Chocolate Milk Gallon!

My oldest son was allergic to milk when he was growing up and never really became a fan (he has now grown out of his allergy), knowing how he isn’t much of a fan of milk (and because I was never a fan of regular milk myself) I decided to purchased the Trumoo Strawberry milk for him and myself to try (which was the only way you could get me to drink milk growing up). Of course my 12 year old was reluctant and continued to argue with me about his true hatred for milk. I finally convinced him to try the Trumoo Strawberry Milk and loved the smirk that was left on his face after his first swallow! His face said it all “Mom, you were right, this milk is amazing!” Isn’t this what all of us Mom’s wait centuries to hear from our kids? I humbly smiled and let it be with a hug, but in the back of my mind I was thinking “Wow, I just got him not only to drink milk but to enjoy it?!?”

Since then I have caught him on numerous occasions sneaking in the kitchen for a glass of Trumoo Strawberry Milk. I went to get myself a glass this morning and noticed there was only a little left. I guess both my boys are now Trumoo Milk lovers!

Thanks Trumoo, you saved me from ever having to buy another bottle of Vitamin D for my oldest son and you made me a hero with my youngest son! Trumoo rocks!

I received a digital copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for my honest feedback.

I love Matthew West, he is one of my favorite Christian Singers, so when I saw this book I was thrilled to read it. I'm so happy it lived up to my expectations! 
As we all know it's not easy giving forgiveness, Asking for forgiveness, forgiving ourselves, and even accepting the Lord's forgiveness at times. Although Our Father asks us to forgive others as he graciously forgives us, many of us still find it as one of our top sinful acts. Why is it so hard to forgive? Why can't we just move past whatever the situation is and trust again without restraint? Why is it so hard to ask for forgiveness? As Matthew West shares the stories of others and what they went through his readers come to see that many go through the same struggles everyday and you will find how these people were able to overcome and move forward. 

What you will find in this book:
Stories about forgiving others, asking for forgiveness, and forgiving yourself. 
Bible scripture on what God say's about forgiveness and stories about forgiveness found in the Bible. 
Embracing God's forgiveness.
How the author was able to deal with situations concerning forgiveness in his life.

If you are like many of us in the world that have a hard time dealing with forgiveness then this is the book for you. You will find at least something you can take out of this book and implement into your life.

I received a sample of the White Cheddar Mac and Cheese. This microwavable mac and cheese isn't kraft by no means! It gives you a little bit of a gourmet feeling on the run. Annie's uses 100% real cheese and all this yumminess is ready in as little as 2 minutes!

belVita Soft Baked Breakfast Biscuit: $3.69 a pack

I received a sample of the Mixed Berry flavor. I love belVita's crunchy biscuits so I was looking forward to trying the soft baked. It's delicious! It tasted just like your grandma's oatmeal cookies. Yum!! Delicious and healthy snack on the go!

Pond's Luminous Finish BB+ Cream: $9.99 in mass retailers

Pond's BB+ cream is exactly as it says, luminous! It goes on silky smooth, smells amazing (as all Pond's products do), gives you a glowing look, and give you long term benefits of even toned skin! It delivers a pigment system designed to blend into your skin flawlessly and conceals pretty well for minor blemishes. It helps target dark spots and helps them fade over time. 

Overall this #mamavoxbox was awesome. It allowed me to try some amazing products and enabled me to have the knowledge of how each product was so that I can do what I do best, give my recommendations and tell everyone about whats hot on the market currently! I loved all of the products I received to sample and will continue to use all of them.

Sleep Number 5” CoolFit™ Foam Contour Pillow

I received a Sleep Number 5” CoolFit™ Foam Contour Pillow in exchange for my honest review. 

When it first arrived there was a bit of a smell from the factory so I washed the cover and used Febreze to eliminate the smell. After allowing it to air out it was ready for use. 

I am a very hot sleeper and I was hoping to not have any disappointment from my high expectations of this Sleep Number 5” CoolFit™ Foam Contour Pillow, after fighting off the kids whom were trying with all their mites to steal my new pillow I was ready to take it for a test drive. I normally don’t use contour pillows as well so this was also going to be a first. As I laid my head down onto my new Sleep Number 5” CoolFit™ Foam Contour Pillow my head immediately sunk into it and I felt the cooling foam completely surround my entire head, neck, and shoulder areas. I move around a lot while I sleep and I noticed that the pillow was comfortable no matter which position I was in, stomach, side, or back, it felt comfortable in every way. I also noticed that each time my head would lift and return to the pillow the cooling foam started to work all over again. 

If I had to find one con it would have to be that because I like my head to be equal to my shoulders while I am lying on my side I did place a pillow below this one to raise it up a little and ensure my shoulder wasn’t uncomfortable. But I have to do this with any pillow in order to get it in just the right position for my comfort level. Although this pillow doesn’t cool my entire body (that would be amazing) it did feel amazing to have some cooling relief on my head, neck, and shoulder areas. 

The Sleep Number 5” CoolFit™ Foam Contour Pillow would be a great addition to the Sleep Number DualTemp Layer as well, but is still amazing on it’s own as well! 

So, if you’re looking for some relief from night sweats, heat flashes, if your a hot sleeper, or if you just like that cool refreshing feeling at night I would definitely recommend the  Sleep Number 5” CoolFit™ Foam Contour Pillow!

Aveeno Nourish + Dandruff Control 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner

I received 2 free bottles of Aveeno Nourish + Dandruff Control 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner in return for my honest feedback. 

After using Aveeno Nourish + Dandruff 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner for a few days it was very moisturizing and did leave my scalp more nourished helping my dandruff, it felt more like I was using lotion in my hair than a shampoo and conditioner which I think will take time to get use to. 

Also, I live in florida and have a hard time handling my frizz with the humidity, I noticed my frizz level went up a little. From a scale of 1-10 (1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest) I would give it a score of 9 because of the frizz level slightly going up. Compared to other dandruff shampoo and conditioner combos Aveeno’s product was by far more nourishing, moisturizing, and smelled amazing! 

I have always trusted the Aveeno brand name for as long as I can remember, my children and husband both have extremely sensitive skin and many products will make them breakout in hives at times. But with Aveeno I can always count on any of their products to be nothing but safe on my families delicate skin. When your entire family suffers from extremely sensitive skin and you don’t know what products to trust, you can always trust Aveeno. I couldn’t live without their products!

As she continues on describing her memories, experiences, and feelings, you start to feel as if you know Robin on a personal level. Almost as if you grew up with her and the two of you are close friends. While she shares intimate life experiences and deep feelings of the Lord’s blessings you only want to hear more.

Robin and Cindy work together as a complete pair. As if they were a pair of shoes, one fits perfectly with the other. As Robin shares her life’s precious moments, Cindy then steps in to go even deep on the level of how God calls to us and how Robin’s experiences were connected to the Lord. She then helps us to see her vision better by taking us into the Bible and showing us exactly how we can see that the Lord has a purpose for every situation. This book was a bit different then I originally expected. I thought it would have had some kind of storyline with prayer and scripture throughout. I found it to be a bit more of a journal or diary to The Lord of prayers from a women speaking to God about different aspects and seasons of her life. From Woman and child to Woman and friends the author shares prayer, scripture, quotes, and more that relate to these intimate moments she experienced.

What you can expect to find in this book and how it can help you:

 

·         You will find ways the Author shares her feelings and speaks to The Lord; this can be a great example for others that find it difficult to speak to God as their Friend and Father.

·         There is scripture for each life experience that the Author speaks about in a women's life, this can be helpful for women that have gone through the same experiences or may currently be going through these situations in their lives and are looking for someone that can relate as well as scripture to refer to.

·         Uplifting and Spiritual Quotes from individuals referring to the life experience that is being spoken about at throughout the book, many people find positive quotes very supportive when dealing with difficult life situations.

·         Examples of how the Author Prays to the Lord, not only are their many woman that find it difficult to speak to Our Father as a Father but they also find it difficult to pray to Him, others find it difficult to know the difference between speaking to God and praying to Him. New Lysol Power and Free Cleaners Rock!

I was given Lysol Power & Free Multi-Purpose Spray and Lysol Power & Free Bathroom & Toilet Wipes free in return for my honest feedback.

I have always loved Lysol Brand Cleaners however, I have always hated the smell of the bleach products. I continued to use them to ensure that my home was 100% sanitized because I have children and I am such a germaphobe! As many of you out there that have used bleach cleaners know it’s not only the harsh smell that you and your family have to endure for the sake of a sanitized home but it’s also nearly impossible to get the smell of bleach off of our hands once were done cleaning! Then to make matters worse how many times have you accidentally bleached your clothes while cleaning with these bleach cleaners?  When I saw that Lysol came out with a product that kills 99.9% of germs without the harsh bleach smell and would still clean and sanitize just as good as bleach I couldn’t believe they didn’t think of this before! Although I must say I was still a bit skeptical if it really did clean and sanitize just as well, I really wasn’t sure if Hydrogen Peroxide could pull it off as well as bleach did. Boy was I wrong to even hesitate!

When I received my free samples I had currently been using Clorox wipes on a daily basis for all of my basic cleaning needs. When I received both of these free bottles of the New Lysol Power &Free I had never been so excited to clean my house. I immediately dropped everything, changed into my cleaning clothes, and started my cleaning venture with my son’s bathroom. I have two boys that are still young and trying to keep a young boys bathroom clean is a mission on its own without having to worry about their asthma, it’s truly scary to use harsh chemicals in the home while their home so I normally have to have them go outside and play while I am cleaning. I used the Lysol Power & Free Multi-Purpose Spray on the bath tub, toilet area, and even the tile floors, I used the Lysol Power & Free Bathroom & Toilet Wipes on the counter, cabinets, door and doorknobs, as well as parts of the toilet and tub area as well. I was just astonished on how amazing everything looked! The best part was when my husband and two son’s came into the house and asked me what smelled so good! The complaints of smelly chemicals were replaced with compliments, the entire bathroom couldn’t have been cleaner (or smelled better), it couldn’t have been easier to clean, and I didn’t ruin any clothing in the process!  I am never using anything else but Lysol Power & Free Products! I have not stopped telling everyone I know about how amazing these cleaners are and I won’t stop telling everyone because these are such amazing products!!

Thank you Lysol for coming up with such a safe alternative and making sure it was still just as “Powerful” as bleach but “Free” of all the harshness!

Campbells Go (TM) Soup

I received a free sample of the New Campbell’s Go Moroccan Style Chicken with Chickpeas Soup in exchange for my honest feedback.

The Campbell’s Go Moroccan Style Chicken with Chickpeas Soup was delicious. I found many details that made this soup not only delectable and but found myself constantly craving for more! The packaging was very thought out and made well with the pouch being able to go right into your microwave for easy cooking and clean up!

Here are several Pros I liked about Campbell’s Go Moroccan Style Chicken with Chickpeas Soup:

• The vegetables tasted extremely fresh.
• The Chicken was made of Real White Meat Chicken Breast.
• The spices were bold and exciting.

The Campbell’s Go Moroccan Style Chicken and Chickpea Soup had a sweetness with a strong kick. If you like a sweet and spicy mix with perfectly even notes you will love this soup! If it’s a cold winter night, your sick and craving a bowl of soup, just a soup person, or just like to try new foods, the Campbell’s Go Moroccan Style Chicken and Chickpea Soup is an absolute winner in my book!

Centrum Flavor Burst Multivitamin Chews

I received a free sample of the Centrum Flavor Burst Multivitamin Chews in Grape Flavor in exchange for my honest feedback.

I have always hated taking multivitamins because they are normally large pills and I notice I get terrible burps at times where I taste the vitamins all day long! But since I am a mother of two school aged boys and they are constantly bringing home every germ they come in contact with at school I find myself always sick unless I take some kind of vitamin, so I though I would give this a try. Let’s face it, I’m not getting any younger and the older I get the more my body needs vitamins!

I’m so glad I did! The sample came with two grape flavored vitamins. I took them in the morning so that I could see if I had any stomach issues. When I took them I immediately loved that they were chewy like candy. They also were sweet and the grape flavor reminded me of a grape skittle but a little bit chewier. Although they were chewy it was too chewy and didn’t take long to break them down enough to swallow them.

Hours into the day I did even remember that I had taken them which was pleasant being my past experiences with multivitamins made sure to remind me that I had taken them for hours! I was continued on with my day with a smile. Before I knew it bed time came and I couldn’t believe that I still had no stomach problems at all! No nausea, stomach ache, burps, nothing! I have tried many different brands of multivitamins and have never had a good experience. I never thought I would be able to take normal multivitamins. Even when I was pregnant the only vitamins I was able to handle were children’s chewable vitamins.

Since my experience with Centrum Flavor Burst Multivitamins I have purchased a bottle and started taking them daily. I have been taking them for a couple of days and I am still having nothing but great results. I have also recommended my husband to take them and he enjoys them as well. I am very happy that I was able to find a multivitamin that my body could handle taking on a daily basis. I have recommended many people to try them as well and I have also posted this information on my Facebook and Twitter accounts. I am so excited to let others know and hopefully I will be able to help someone else become healthier that was in the same situation as I was in. I am now convinced that not all multi-vitamins are created equal!

CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation

I received a coupon to redeem for a bottle of the New CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation in exchange for my honest feedback. 

After reviewing the different colors that were available I selected the Natural Tan 860 and felt this color would best match my face. When I returned home I immediately washed my face so that I could try my new foundation. After washing my face I applied L’Oreal’s BB Cream and then L’Oreal’s RevitaLift Miracle Blur. I opened the bottle of CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation because other foundation’s I have used in the past didn’t have the pump feature that this bottle has. I dabbed a little bit of foundation in several areas of my face and then blended it into my face first using my fingertips and then finishing with a sponge applicator paying close attention to under my eyes and around my jawbone making certain that it was blending well. I was impressed with how well it blended with my natural color and the matte finish it left my face with. 

The next day I was going on a 12 hour field trip with my son and his 2^nd grade class. This would be the real test if this foundation could last a full 12 hours in sunny Florida, with the humidity, at an amusement park. I went through the same steps I had taken the day prior when applying the CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation. I also applied my Mineral’s loose powder that I normally wear, as well as a little bronzer on my cheeks and eye area and finished with clear gloss.

Several hours into the field trip we all had stopped to take a bathroom break. I went to grab my powder out of my bag as a habit of needing to refresh my makeup during the day, but when I went to apply it I noticed I didn’t need to and put it away. A couple of hours later, after lunch, I went to the rest room again. When I looked in the mirror the only thing missing was my gloss! I was very impressed, but still had my doubts. As the day went on it became very hot, it was the middle of April and it happened to be a very hot day. Although I was sweating from the heat my makeup was still withstanding the day. At the end of the day when I returned home and went to go wash my face I took a few minutes to stare at my reflection in amazement with the reality of the situation; my makeup looked almost identical to what it did when I applied it that morning. Not only did the CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation prove to be all that is in its name by outlasting the day and staying fabulous but the bronzer I applied that morning was also nearly perfect. My bronzer has never made it a few hours into my day before which made it clear that the foundation was an excellent primer as well.  

I have now been using the CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous for over 2 weeks and I am still amazed at the end of each day. I’ve also noticed that more and more I am leaving the makeup bag at home, because I don’t need to refresh my face several times a day as I use to have to do. I can be confident that when I apply my makeup, it will outlast even me!

Here are some Pros and Cons about the New CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation:

Pros:
·         It works well as a primer, making sure your other makeup stays on all day too

·         It has an amazing matte finish
·         It blends well with your natural skin color
·         It stays where you apply it all day long for outlasting results
·         Evens your skin tone, giving you a smooth look

Cons:

·         It didn’t work well for me as a concealer on darker blemishes

·         It dries quickly which may not be suitable for everyone
·         It isn’t very moisturizing for people with dry skin; but great for people with oily skin

L'Oreal RevitaLift Miracle Blur

I received a free sample of L’Oreal’s New RevitaLift Miracle Blur in exchange for my honest feedback.

When I first received it in the mail I was excited by all the different benefits it had for my skin and was very anxious to try it. As a mother of two boys I can assure you that my skin isn’t what it once was before kids; daily stress, aging and make-up use doesn’t help my skin look any better either! The next day when I was getting ready to leave the house for the day I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to try it out. My skin was fresh out of the shower clean and dry to my combination skin I must first apply some kind of skin care moisturizer. I applied L’Oreal’s new BB Cream which I also received as a sample. I then applied the RevitaLift Miracle Blur to only half of my face. I noticed that the lines around my eyes, my smile lines, and my dark circles around my eyes, were all noticeably improved. I took the time to see if my husband could point out which side of my face had the RevitaLift Miracle Blur applied and which side only had the L’Oreal BB Cream. He was able to point out the side that had the L’Oreal RevitaLift Miracle Blur immediately. I was very impressed. I continued with my make-up regimen as normal of course making sure to apply the RevitaLift Miracle Blur to the other side of my face first.

We then left the house for the day, our first stop was church. The real proof came after service when I ran into a friend, she noticed that my facial appearance seemed younger and more refreshed looking. I took the compliment with a smile and shared my secret with her. She was grateful for the tip and couldn’t wait to try it herself after seeing how flawless my skin looked. This isn’t an easy task in our state of sunny and humid Florida. I’m lucky if my face continues to look nice after even leaving the house. But getting a compliment hours after applying the RevitaLift Miracle Blur let me know that not only did it seem to smooth out my lines and give me a flawless appearance but it was able to withstand the humidity and heat as well.  

I have now been using L’Oreal’s RevitaLift Miracle Blur for about two weeks and these are the Pros and Cons I found during my experience: 

Pros:

• Immediately gives your face a flawless look
  
• Smooth’s out fine lines and wrinkles
  
• Helps with dark circles under your eyes
  
• Stays looking flawless and giving you coverage for hours

Cons:

• Seems to leave a sleek finish on your face which could make it difficult if you applied it over your eye brow area and then want to fill in your eye brows
  
• It has a scent, I didn’t mind the smell but others may
  
• It will burn your eyes if you get it to close so be sure to use caution if you will be applying it near your eye area
  
• Although there are a couple of Cons I don’t believe any of them outweigh the Pros of L’Oreal’s RevitaLift Miracle Blur. I haven’t found a product that has come close to giving my skin such a flawless look. I am very satisfied with the product.

Children’s Mucinex® Multi-Symptom Cold

I recently received a free sample of Children’s Mucinex® Multi-Symptom Cold in return for my honest feedback.

It couldn't have arrived at a better time, since my two son’s (ages 8 and 12) both had just caught a cold and were miserable. Although my son’s had tried Children’s Mucinexin the past when they were congested and were pleased with the results we had not tried the Children’s Mucinex® Multi-Symptom Cold.

The first thing I did when receiving my sample was read the front of the box which listed the symptoms that Mucinex® Multi-Symptom Cold stated it could relieve, this included cough, stuffy nose, chest congestion and breaks up mucus. I was impressed by what the new Mucinex® Multi-Symptom Cold was able to relieve in one medication. In the past when I had given my children Children’s Mucinex I didn’t like that I had to also give them an additional medication to help relieve the remaining symptoms they were experiencing. In my opinion it was very smart for Children’s Mucinex to come up with one medication that would take care of all the most common cold symptoms.

As I had said earlier, we were very lucky to receive this sample of Mucinex® Multi-Symptom Cold when we did because both my children happened to have a cold at the time. I would like to also point out that my oldest son has chronic asthma his entire life which becomes inflamed when he becomes sick. If his chest congestion is not controlled during a cold it could ultimately turn into something much worse. I had read the directions on the back of the box and administered the correct amount of medication per child according to age and weight requirements as per the directions. Both of them disliked the taste and requested a drink immediately. From my past experiences with medications, the taste is normally a drawback that must be overlooked at times to insure we are able to have temporary relief from our current illness. Within 20 minutes they both had notice significant improvement of their cold symptoms. I was also impressed by the way they both looked and their increase in energy; my asthmatic sons chest didn’t sound as tight and was less wheezy. They were both feeling so satisfied with the results of  Mucinex® Multi-Symptom Cold that they requested it again later in the day when their symptoms had started to return. Due to the relief of their cold symptoms they both were able to get out of bed and move around breathing much easier than they previously were prior to taking the Mucinex® Multi-Symptom Cold. 

Ultimately my kids and I were impressed with the results of the new Mucinex® Multi-Symptom Cold. I will definitely purchase this in the future and feel confidant suggesting it to other parents. The relief my children were able to receive exceeded my expectations. I was also very impressed by the relief my asthmatic son was able to experience above and beyond the basic cold symptom relief. We never experienced asthmatic relief from an over the counter medication before, although it was not advertised to relieve asthmatic symptoms, the congestion and tightness were relieved enough to eliminate the wheezing temporarily. Mucinex® Multi-Symptom Cold can be purchased at your local drug or grocery store, the cost is approximately $7.99. Great product by Mucinex®!

Pros:

• Relief of the symptoms listing if the box within 20 minutes
• Was able to eliminate administering multiple medications because this one covered all of them
• Was easy to administer and the directions were clear and easy to understand
• Children were happy and were able to find symptom relief for hours
• Alcohol free

Cons:

• The taste was unpleasant

Neutrogena Complete Acne Therapy System, It's Amazing!

As I'm aging I've noticed that my skin is changing. Although I've never previously had any issues as a teenager with acne or problematic skin now that I'm in my 30's my skin has chosen to not be so friendly. I originally started using a product from The Body Shop which seemed to make it worse, I then tried several of their other facial products in hopes that one of them would work as good as there body butters and other products I've always liked, but I still struck out. Months went by and my face became worse.

I trust Amazon.com for their reviews on different products, so while I was at Publix one day grocery shopping I stopped by the skin care aisle. Out of the corner of my eye I spotted a box from Neutrogena's skin care line, it was there Neutrogena Complete Acne Therapy System. It included one 5.1oz bottle of Skin Polishing Acne Cleanser, One 1.7oz bottle of Oil-Free SPF 15 Lotion, and one 1.4oz bottle of Acne Control Lotion. I immediately picked the box up and began reading some of the ingredients on the back; I then opened my smart phone and clicked on my Amazon app. I looked up the kit and saw that the reviews were amazing! People were saying it was better than Proactiv (I must state I have never tried Proactiv, so I couldn't give my opinion on this product however, I was considering trying Proactiv when I found Neutrogena's System). After reading all of the reviews I decided to purchase the kit and give it a shot. I believe the price at Publix was around $22.00. I also decided to purchase another item from Neutrogena which was the Neutrogena Rapid Clear On-the-Go Acne Treatment Pen, I believe the price was around $8.00 or $9.00, I did however find it on sale a few weeks later for $4.49 at Publix. It is meant to be used for when you have a break out; you can apply it directly to the pimple. It is supposed to reduce the size of the pimple, redness, and swelling within 4 hours. My face was just not happy with me at the time so I thought the additional product may help me a bit faster.

 When I made it home I was anxious to try my new found hope so I quickly rushed to the bathroom and began to get myself ready to wash my face. At the time I had an enormous pimple on my chin and another on my nose. I started the warm water, wet my face and the applied a small amount of the cleaner onto my fingertips, the first amount quickly slipped off onto the sink which is when I learned quickly that the cleaner can be a bit tricky to keep on your hands, I reapplied it onto my palm this time and rubbed my two palms together, then I applied it to my face in a circular motion paying close attention to my problem areas. I must say I loved the feeling of the superfine micro beads on my face, it made me feel as though my face was really being cleaned. I then rinsed my face and then patted it dry with a clean towel. My face felt immediately refreshed! I then applied a small amount of the Acne Control Lotion on my entire face, after I applied a small amount of the Acne Treatment Pen to my two large pimples. Within hours both the pimples had reduced by over 50%. At bedtime I reapplied the Acne Treatment Pen directly onto the pimples, by morning they were both hardly noticeable.

The only con I found was that my face did have some white crust left on it from the Acne Treatment Pen, so I did need to make sure to rinse my face before leaving the house or applying makeup. I only use the Oil-Free SPF 15 Lotion before I apply makeup or leave the house during the day. I began using these product about 6 months ago, since I've noticed that if I don't wash my face at least once a day (preferably twice), if I accidentally sleep with my makeup on, or while I am on my menstrual cycle I will at times still break out. But as soon as I start back up with my daily routine again my skin clears up immediately. My son who is just starting puberty is beginning to have skin are issues, I bought him his own kit and he is also having great results. I also purchased a kit for my husband because he travels for work a lot which makes it difficult to share, he too is very happy with the results. As far as pros and cons:

Pros:
· Works well
· Fast results
· Easy to use in the shower or at the sink
· Feels good on face
· The SPF lotion is very lightweight

Cons:
· Doesn't make my face dry (Pro) but when my husband used it twice a day he did experience a little peeling in some areas
· The face wash is slippery on your hands causing you to possibly drop the product (must use care)
· The Acne control lotion may make your skin feel tight temporarily which some people may not like
· In the end everyone has different experiences with different products, but for me and my family Neutrogena's Complete Acne Therapy System work great
